British Academy Video Games Awards
BAFTA is best known for its star-studded Film and TV awards but since 2003, it has celebrated the very best in Video Games. The GAME British Academy Video Games Awards take place on Friday 19 March to recognize the year's most innovative and creative releases...
BAFTA masks will be presented in thirteen categories - from Action, Gameplay and Strategy to the Ones to Watch Award recognising fresh new game-making talent. The prestigious Academy Fellowship will also be presented to an individual who has revolutionised the way we play games.
The Awards are voted for by the games industry and BAFTA members, as well as a series of expert juries. Plus, one Award will also be chosen by you - the game playing public. Don't forget to vote for your favourite game of the year in The GAME Award 2009.
