Baftagameaward.com is a subsidiary website of Gameplay (GB) Ltd. trading as Game.co.uk ("GAME") in partnership with The British Academy of Film and Television Arts ("BAFTA").

At GAME we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). Our data protection registration is Z8299010.

BAFTA is fully registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.

On this site we collect information about you for four reasons:

1. to validate your vote
2. if you want to enter our prize draw
3. if you want to sign up to the GAME Newsletter
4. if you want to sign up to the BAFTA Newsletter

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

The information you provide will be kept confidential and will only be passed on to external companies if you have opted in to permit BAFTA to give your contact information to selected companies, business partners, sponsors and advertisers, or where BAFTA is required to by law. GAME will not pass your data onto any other parties, unless where required by law.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting GAME's Customer Services department or BAFTA at web@bafta.org.

If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). If you opt in to the prize draw you agree to be contacted via email should you be the draw winner.

We will not contact you in future unless you agree to sign up to the GAME newsletter and / or the BAFTA newsletter.

If you sign up for the GAME Newsletter or the BAFTA Newsletter we will always give you the chance to unsubscribe at any time. For the GAME Newsletter you will find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. To unsubscribe from the BAFTA Newsletter please contact web@bafta.org.

GAME and BAFTA both use Responsys to send out emails to those who have chosen to receive the GAME or/and BAFTA Newsletters.
